Happy New Year!
It’s another day being me and this seemingly chaotic brain of mine. But that is not the point of this piece. I decided on some of my New Year’s resolutions and I want to share with you all. Firstly, I will hold others accountable for their actions and how they make me feel. By doing this I hope to learn to love myself better to understand that I deserve better from people. Secondly, I want to mature more emotionally. I haven’t fully thought out my game plan yet on how to achieve this, but I have some ideas. I need to exercise my brain, body, and soul.
I will read more difficult/ inspiring/ thought provoking/ controversial books.
(If you all have any suggestions leave a comment below!)
I will work out more. I need to build discipline and set a routine. I want to show respect to myself by making my body healthy and strong.
I also will drink 10x more water! #HydratedQueen
Now, I have a tendency to leave things half done. Not because of incompetence, but out of fear of failing. But I’ve been failing with no benefit of learning from my mistakes due to fear. So I am giving my fears to God all 2020.
Be sure to look out for my next post!
